The best thing about working with Diandra was that her process was nonjudgmental and focused on "eating for health." "For years, I’ve suffered with emotional eating related to childhood trauma, and desperately have wanted to retrain myself to care for the body that God has gifted me. Because I just ate the Standard American Diet, I was addicted to sugar and processed food. Over the years, many health issues came up including Type II diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. My doctors wanted to treat this all with medication. However, I wasn’t happy with this solution because medication only treats the symptoms without addressing the root cause.
